Kanta Pilipinas aims to delve deeper into the lives of all contestants, even providing a full makeover to boost their mass appeal and mold them as the country’s next singing sensation. The competition is open to all Filipinos from 14 to 30 years old, performing any genre in either solo, duo or group act. On-ground auditions start on February 24 in Cagayan de Oro, then moves to six cities nationwide: Cebu, Davao, Baguio, Iloilo, Metro Manila and Batangas. Aspiring singers can also audition online via www.kantapilipinas.com where they can upload a link to their audition video.
