The maiden issue will be released this month, dubbed as the Fun 1st Issue. ABS-CBN Publishing, Inc., the home of nationwide-praised magazines such as “The Buzz”, “K Magazine”, “Chalk” and many others, brought out the BARBIE Magazine to cater and inspire the minds and creativity of young Filipino girls.

According to the Washington Post, the models for the cover are a 26-year-old mother and her soon-to-be 4-year-old son.
