2012 Transit of Venus when and where visible?

2012 Transit of Venus will happen starting June 5 to 6, when and where visible? This year will be the last Transit of Venus to be seen in our lifetime. The next will not occur until 2117. To mark the occasion, NASA will set up a live telecast of the event from Hawaii which is the best place to view it.During the six hours a number of video clips were contracted to highlight the science behind the Transit and the culture and history of Hawaii.

The entire transit will be visible from the western Pacific Ocean, north-western North America, north-eastern Asia, Japan, eastern Australia, New Zealand, eastern Africa, Arabia and high Arctic locations including northern Scandinavia, Iceland and Greenland. In North America, the beginning of the transit will be visible on 5 June until sunset. From sunrise on 6 June, the end of the transit will be visible from South Asia, the Middle East, east Africa and most of Europe.
