Richard Tan passed away on June 3, 2012

Richard Tan passed away on June 3, 2012. Richard Tan who is the man behind the biggest bands in the country, has passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2012.  Tan managed Filipino talents including Parokya ni Edgar, Kamikazee, Moonstar88, Gloc-9, FRANCO, Typecast, Hilera, The Youth and Chicosci through Backbeat Productions.

The cause of his death is yet to be known. No official statement from his family has been released as of this posting.
