Video- Kwentuhan Tayo Pinoy Style mini Series by US Embassy in the Philippines

The US Embassy in Manila launched a new video mini-series on YouTube, called Kwentuhan Tayo, Pinoy-Style!  This is the first Filipino-language video series to be offered by the Embassy.

Public Affairs Officer Robin Diallo quoted:
“Speaking the local language allows our diplomats to communicate with Filipinos at a much deeper level [...] While most Filipinos do speak English, the U.S. Embassy understands the importance of making the effort to learn a Filipino language.” 

Join David as he savors Filipino food -- both the typical and the exotic -- in one of his favorite restaurants in Manila. David's food trip is the third in a video mini-series called Kwentuhan Tayo, Pinoy Style!, the first Filipino-language video series to be offered by the Embassy via Youtube. The mini-series features six American diplomats talking about their lives in the Philippines, in Filipino.



Take a peek into the life of Dust, a U.S. Embassy consular officer who regularly visits a Pinoy family in Pasay City. Dust's story is the first in a video mini-series called Kwentuhan Tayo, Pinoy-Style!, the first Filipino-language video series to be offered by the Embassy via Youtube. The mini-series features six American diplomats speaking about their lives in the Philippines in Filipino.


Listen to Steve as he talks about his humble beginnings in Oklahoma, his first Foreign Service assignment in Pakistan and how he and his wife discover that "it's more fun in the Philippines!" Steve's kwento is the second in a video mini-series called Kwentuhan Tayo, Pinoy Style!, the first Filipino-language video series to be offered by the Embassy via YouTube. The mini-series features six American diplomats talking about their life, and living in the Philippines -- in the Filipino language.
