The Chief Justice agreed to stand on the witness stand on his Impeachment Trial on May 22. CJ Corona’s spokesperson Karen Jimeno said that since the chief magistrate himself would take the witness stand, it will be useless for him to sign any waiver.
On the possibility that the issue of the alleged $10-million dollar accounts would be used in another impeachment complaint if Corona is acquitted, Salvador said the same information cannot be used again against the Chief Justice.
