Police Chief Details Paris Hilton Booking Process

Paris Hilton will hopefully go to jail for a long time. But when the heiress was arrested last month for cocaine possession, she was rushed through the booking process.
In fact, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Deputy Chief Jim Dixon admits Hilton was given special treatment due to her celebrity.
"She was treated differently so I don't have a disruption of my process here at the county jail," He told The Las Vegas Review-Journal. "When you bring somebody in like that, everybody comes over and tries to look at them. I'd have officers attempting to keep inmates away from her. I'd have disruptions."

The goal, Dixon said, was to get Paris into a separate room from other inmates and eligible for release as quickly as possible.
"She was moved along out of the general area and put in isolation where nobody can actually get to her. That wouldn't be fair to her. It wouldn't be fair to my officers. It wouldn't be fair to the other inmates... To put Paris Hilton in an open dorm area with male inmates and female inmates would shut down my process."
The man makes a good point. Both genders would try to create their own version of a One Night in Paris sequel, given the chance. We know how it works in prison!
Hilton will be arraigned on October 27. She can use the time before then to come up with an excuse for the cocaine that she didn't already shoot down on Twitter.
