The Miss World Vietnamese 2010 beauty pageant will be held at Vinpearl Land resort in Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa province.
The central province of Khanh Hoa has secured government approval to hold Miss Vietnam World 2010 in the resort town of Nha Trang, officials said Thursday. Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan has asked the provincial People’s Committee to coordinate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the State Commission for overseas Vietnamese, and Vinpearl Tourism and Trading JSC to organize the pageant, the office said.
The event will be the second such competition after the first was held at Vinpearl Land, Nha Trang in 2007. Ngo Phuong Lan won the crown in the 2007 contest. The Vinpearl Land Tourism Joint Stock Company on April 10 said that it has poured much investment to improve services to meet international guests’ needs.
Nguyen Trong Hien, president of Vinpearl’s board of directors, said with its experiences, the company will work with other organisations to successfully hold the event.
Vinpearl Land has worked with relevant agencies to successfully organize the recent ASEAN Financial Ministers Meeting, ASEAN +3 and the 6th ASEAN Central Bank Governors’ Meeting.
