VietNamNet Bridge - The Vietnam Model Award 2008 was launched in HCM City last weekend. The organizing board received 72 nominations, including 46 female and 26 male models.

The common standard for nominees is that they have to have worked as professional models for at least 2 years.
The Jury will select 30 models based on their body measurements, performance style, professional records in 2007-2008 and other criteria, to compete in the Vietnam Model Award 2008 ceremony to be held December 2008 in HCM City, and will present seven titles to the winners.
The event is held every two years. The first contest took place in 2006 with awards for female models only. The Best Model title was won by model Thanh Hang.
