Maria Selena, from Central Java, was crowned Puteri Indonesia 2011 on October 7th 2011, at the Ritz Carlton hotel in Jakarta. Maria Selena is 21-year-old and stands 1.76 m. She will represent Indonesia at Miss Universe 2012 pageant.

The 1st runner-up was Liza Purnamasari, and the 2nd runner-up was Andi Tenri Natassa.

Leila Lopes has newly crowned Miss Universe 2011. She has landed in New York City, this is the first time she has visited the United States and New York City. After the photo-shoot, Leila Lopes gave the first interview to PIX Morning News on September 19, 2011. When asked about the report of a Argentina’s Newspaper that she had used forged documents to qualify Miss Angola in United Kingdom, Leila Lopes confirmed: “I provided all the required documents!”

Leila Lopes has just been crowned Miss Universe 2011. Leila Lopes is from Angola. Leila Luliana  was born on February 26, 1986, in Benguela, Angola. Lopes is a business management student in Great Britain,where she was crowned Miss Angola UK on October 8, 2010.

Present at the rehearsal were Miss Universe choreographer Michael Schwandt, and local choreographer Paula Peixoto.  The beauties will keep on learning the choreographies they will show on stage during the live telecast on September 12th.
