Get ready for Pinoy Pride and Pinoy Idol Thia Megia, Live on ASAP 2012 this Sunday! Megia finished in the top 11 of the tenth season of American Idol. Thia auditioned for the tenth season of American Idol in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with the song "Chasing Pavements" by Adele. As of season 10, Megia is the youngest finalist to ever appear on Idol after they changed the minimum age limit to 15 years.
Thia Megia visited the country last September together with the rest of the American Idol Season 10 finalists as they held 2 concerts at Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
Thia met Congressman Manny Pacquiao in Manny Many Prizes when she guested on the show together with American Idol Season 10 Finalists. Thia eventually chosen by Manny Pacquiao to sing the US National Anthem for his 3rd fight against Juan Manuel Marquez, last November. (watch Thia Megia's version of Star-Spangled Banner)
